This amazingly awesome feature has been annoying me since I first moved over to Firefox Shiritoko. Back then I tried looking around where to disable it, but no luck and I don’t like messing around in about:config if I’m not sure about something.

So today, this extremely useless feature happened again and this time I was in luck when I googled for an answer. Here’s how to disable it:

* In address bar type: about:config
* Locate line: middlemouse.contentLoadURL
* Double click the line to change from true to false

It’s so easy I wish I did look for it when it started annoying me in the beginning.
